Attempted Robbery Reported At Lynnfield Exxon

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service between Friday, October 18 and Sunday, October 20.
On Friday, October 18 at 8:05 a.m. an accident was reported on Salem Street near Eastern Bank.
At 8:57 a.m. a suspicious auto was reported on Lovell Road. It checked out OK.
At 11:23 a.m. wires down were reported on Powder Hill Road.
At 3:16 p.m. a Shady Nook Lane resident reported coming home to find the door wide open. Further investigation found it was likely blown open by the wind.
At 4:40 p.m. a Heritage Lane resident reported finding what was possibly a toy hand grenade on top of her trash barrel and was unsure whether it was real. It turned out to be a toy.
At 8:40 p.m. an Otter Pond Road resident reported some youths rang his doorbell and threw rotten food at his house.
At 9:46 p.m. a caller reported a possible fight at Bali Hai. Police found all quiet.
At 11:07 p.m. a Mirabeau Lane resident reported someone was hiding in the bushes by the street. They were gone on arrival.
On Saturday, October 19 at 1:11 a.m. police arrested Steven Collins, 42, 10 Jensen Street, Lynnfield and charged him with OUI Liquor.
At 9:06 a.m. a large cardboard box was reported on South Broadway.
At 11:43 p.m. an erratic operator was reported on Lynnfield Street.
On Sunday, October 20 at 12:02 a.m. an attempted robbery was reported at Lynnfield Exxon on South Broadway. A white male dressed all in black with a black mask reportedly walked in and claimed to have a weapon, but did not show a weapon and left without anything.
At 11:36 a.m. police checked on a woman reported sleeping in a car.
At 7:44 p.m. a caller reported a boy had thrown a bike into the woods near Chestnut Street. Police brought it to the station.

At 7:28 p.m. police arrested Robert Anthony Noto, 40, 9 Elizabeth Way, Lynnfield and charged him with assault and battery, domestic.
