Fundraising Walks, CoffeeHouse and Vanilla 101 This Weekend

Today is Friday, October 11. Here are five things worth knowing today.

Coming up on Wednesday, October 23, the library continues its author series with Dan Gordon, author of “Haunted Baseball: Ghosts, Curses, Legends & Eerie Events,” and “Field of Screams: Haunted Tales from the Baseball Diamond.” The event will be at the Old Meeting House across the street from the library. All are welcome, sponsored by Friends of the Lynnfield Library.

The new Williams-Sonoma at MarketStreet Lynnfield has technique class on “Vanilla 101” this Sunday, October 13 from 10 to 11 a.m. Call 781-334-3690 to reserve a spot.

On the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month, Lynnfield Community Church at 735 Salem Street in Lynnfield holds coffeehouse events. This Friday, October 11 at 7:30 p.m., Steve Beckwith performs.

The 17th annual Buddy Walk, which raises money for Down Syndrome, will take place around Lake Quannapowitt this Sunday, October 13. Click here to register or to learn more.
