Late Delivery Leads To Assault Threat

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Monday, October 7 and Tuesday, October 8.
On Monday, October 7 at 9:36 a.m. police took a walk-in larceny report.
At 10:01 a.m. an elderly man was reported walking and possibly confused near Canterbury Road and Salem Street. Police gave him a ride home.
At 3:07 p.m. a theft was reported at Boston Sports Club.
At 5:53 p.m. police were informed by UPS that a gentleman in Lynn had threatened to come down and assault workers with a baseball bat because a remote control he was expecting that morning did not arrive. The package arrived later, and extra patrols were requested.
At 6:21 p.m. police took a report of possible fraud.
On Tuesday, October 8 at 4:44 a.m. and 9:16 a.m. police provided lift assists to town residents.
At 1 p.m. police took a report involving identity fraud.
At 7:02 p.m. a Westover Drive resident reported some youths had rung her doorbell and ran. They turned out to be selling magazines for a fundraiser.
