Lynnfield Firefighters Head to Louisiana For Hurricane Relief
Firefighters from Massachusetts are preparing to respond to emergencies in some of the areas hit hardest by Hurricane Ida.

LYNNFIELD, MA — Since first responders in Louisiana have been working non-stop since the storm hit, ten local firefighters from Lynnfield, Carlisle, and Dalton are heading down Tuesday to offer some relief.
While in Louisiana, these firefighters will support local first responders in handling emergency calls.
"This crew will be able to provide services in support of those local first responders, so they can get some rest," says Louisiana State Fire Marshall Peter Ostroskey.
