Suspicious Man Claims to be With State Police

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Monday, September 30 and Tuesday, October 1, 2013. 

On Monday, September 30 at 8 a.m., police provided a lift assist. 
At 9:31 a.m.officer performed a well-being check on a Summer Street resident who turned out to have just overslept. 
At 11:32 a.m. a caller reported a person on Essex Street had been out behind the high school and when questioned, claimed to be with the State Police. He was gone on arrival. 
At 6:11 p.m. police took a vandalism complaint on Main Street. 
At 6:40 p.m. an accident was reported on Chestnut Street. 

On Tuesday, October 1 at 7:44 a.m. a hit and run accident was reported on Salem Street. 
At 12:19 p.m. an accident was reported on Partridge Lane, with one reported injury. 
At 3:44 p.m. Wakefield and Lynnfield Police responded to Bay State Road for a report of a tree blocking the road. 
At 10:03 p.m. some motorcycles were reportedly racing on Wildewood Drive. They were gone on arrival.
