Local Author Writes Book on Alzheimer's

“Alzheimer’s patients don’t just come back – someone goes and gets them.  This is the story of how I went and got my mother back”.

So says local author and Attleboro resident Brad Pitman, who will be appearing in person at Shaw’s Super Market in the Tri-Boro Plaza in North Attleboro on Friday, March 17 and Friday March 31 from 10 am – 2 pm to meet the public and answer questions about his book “Ma is Back!  Memoir of an Alzheimer’s Discovery: Restoring my Mother’s Memory”.

Co-written with Attleboro resident Nancy Driscoll (who will appear as well on the 17th from 10-noon) “Ma is Back!” is Pitman’s gripping and informative account of his mother’s amazing return from the depths of Alzheimer’s Disease.  The book explains in simple terms how he aided his mother by concentrating on what she could do and why she could do it, rather than dwelling on what could not be understood.  Written in an easily understandable narrative, it is an inspiring story designed to provide an example of true hope and inspiration against a disease most believe offers little.

“Ma is Back!” is available at Shaw’s as well as several other area locations, and through amazon.com.
