The Attleboro man who allegedly shot a man inside a Mansfield apartment is on trial this week, according to the <a href="http://www.thesunchronicle.com/news/local_news/mansfield-death-trial-starts-monday/article_5beacbdc-1575-5ed5-b686-f10e941aaa54.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Sun Chronicle</a>.   Tyerell L. Charles, 23, pleaded innocent to manslaughter, claiming it was self defense when he allegedly shot 22-year-old Aderito Cardoso of Brockton in January 2011. His trial began Monday. <a href="https://attleboro.patch.com/groups/police-and-fire/p/attleboro-man-arrested-in-connection-with-murder-at-m74232cfd43" rel="nofollow">The shooting took place at the Village at Mansfield Depot, an apartment complex located at 2904 Francis Ave</a>., where Charles' girlfriend had been living. Charles also suffered from a a gunshot wound during the incident.
