Easton Chamber Music Festival presents the 49th Annual Handel’s Messiah Sing!
Join us for this hallmark community tradition featuring the Jubilate Chorale, conductor Murray Kidd, soloists Sandra Eddy Piques (soprano), Mara Bonde (alto), Michael Gonzalez (tenor), Mark Anderson (bass), and a professional orchestra.

All singers, instrumentalists, and audience members are welcome to take part in this holiday musical celebration.
Admission is free; donations are gratefully accepted.

A celebrated New England saxophonist, flutist, and composer, Greg Abate has an impressively diverse international career, including playing for the Ray Charles Orchestra and the Artie Shaw Orchestra. With over 24 recordings and collaborations with jazz greats like Phil Woods and Kenny Barron, Abate is a significant force in jazz, touring extensively and teaching. He was inducted into the Rhode Island Music Hall of Fame in 2016 and recently ranked in the Downbeat Readers Poll. The quartet for this show includes Kent Hewitt on piano, Paul Del Nero on bass, and Gary Johnson on drums. The performance will feature selections from the American songbook, jazz standards, popular tunes, and Abate’s original compositions. “It will be swinging,” Abate said.

Welcome to the Great Woods Marathon, an all-new race experience built for speed, safety, and serious good vibes — all happening at the iconic Great Woods in Mansfield, MA (now known as the Xfinity Center)!
The Course: A flat, fast 2-mile loop, designed for runners who want to stay close to friends, family, bathrooms, and cheers! Start just 0.2 miles ahead of the finish line and complete 13 easy-to-track laps — every mile is marked, every step is supported, and you’re never far from water, music, or motivation.

Just a view from the bike. There are traffic controls on the course for other events at the venue that will not be there the day of the race. 12 minutes, making sure people see all the details.

6-Hour Time Window We’ll keep the good vibes going for at least 6 hours. If you’re still out there, you won’t be alone — you’ll just be sharing the course with some enthusiastic 2-milers!
