'Daisy Duke' Shoplifter Get Probation In Mansfield Theft Case

She also admitted to fleeing from North Attleboro Police.

MANSFIELD, MA — The woman who police nicknamed the "Daisy Duke" shoplifter will serve no jail time for stealing from a store in Mansfield.

Sheena Persinger, 34, of Quincy, pleaded guilty in Attleboro District Court to a larceny charge that stems from a $600 shoplifting incident at the Mansfield Crossing Kohl's. She received a year of probation, according to the Sun Chronicle.

On Aug. 23, 2017, Persinger stole merchandise from the store, according to the Mansfield Police Department. Police say she spent an hour walking around the store, stuffing various items into her shirt and backpack. When she was confronted by loss prevention, she dropped some of the items and fled on a pink and white motorcycle.

Persinger also fled from North Attleboro Police a week after the incident. North Attleboro officers were aware of the Mansfield incident, but had to pull back from the pursuit due to safety concerns.

Persinger's North Attleboro case was continued without a finding for a year.
