“Our spring cleanups over the past 9 years have been a great success,” said Neil Rhein, board member of Keep Mansfield Beautiful. “But we have noticed in recent years that after Halloween there is an increase in litter around town. With our new fall cleanup, we’re aiming to give the town a clean sweep before the weather turns too cold and snowy.”
The deadline for registering for this year’s Mansfield Fall “Littah Sweep” is November 3. Volunteers who received a tee shirt from last spring’s Great American Cleanup of Mansfield are encouraged to wear their tee shirts again. Otherwise, Keep Mansfield Beautiful will provide volunteers with trash bags and a limited number of trash picking tools.
