Learn to protect yourself and stay safe

Seminar benefits HUGS for domestic violence education

Do you know how to protect yourself if you are attacked? Come and learn how you can keep yourself and your loved ones safe at the Self-Defense Seminar at Personal Best Karate. Learn how to recognize danger and what to do if you find yourself in a dangerous situation. The curriculum was created by Personal Best Karate founder, four-time World Champion Master Christopher Rappold, who has been educating the public in self-defense for over 25 years.

“While this seminar is great for those going off to college or who work late shifts, it is really for everyone. We can all end up in a situation where we will need these skills,” explained Rappold. “Everyone feels more confident and self-assured when they leave the class because they know they have the knowledge to protect themselves if they need it.”

The seminar is only $15 and all monies are going to HUGS Foxboro, a group “committed to making the community safer by educating the public regarding violence in relationships and by providing assistance to victims and families affected by domestic violence,” according to HUGS Director Maura Schaeffer.
