Mansfield Crossing is looking to beautify its green spaces and offer customers “more than a place to shop,” according to the Sun Chronicle.
Carolyn Kennedy, director of lifestyle for WS Development, the company that owns and operates the complex said in a statement that “the new green spaces create a focal point for the center and better ingratiates us with the surrounding community.”

Representaive of WS Development will unveil a new features like, picnic tables, a dog-walking space, a walking trail around the pond, and a gardening area that will include an antique potting shed.
“These spaces offer our customers more than a place to shop,” said Kennedy in the statement. “They deliver a new positive experience and have a large impact on guests when they visit our center.”

Mansfield Crossing will begin hosting outdoor movie screenings in August in hopes of attracting locals, whom they expect will utilize the areas for community events like company outings.
