Mansfield Man Gets Jail Time For Attleboro Break-Ins, OUI
William Goyea also lost his driver's license for up to 10 years.

ATTLEBORO, MA — A Mansfield man will serve time behind bars for breaking into two Attleboro apartments and drunken driving.
William J. Goyea, 48, was sentenced in Attleboro District Court Monday to a year in jail. He served six month of the sentence while being held without bail prior to the trial. The full sentence was 2 1/2 years and the balance was suspended with four years of probation and conditions which include submitting to random alcohol testing and staying away from the victims according to the Sun Chronicle. He also will lose his license for up to 10 years and must attend Alcoholics Anonymous meetings.
Goyea was arrested in Attleboro by police who were responding to a report of a drunk man in a blue Honda randomly entering homes. When police located Goyea, he was allegedly slumped in his car with the keys in the ignition with open nip bottles in his vehicle.

Goyea was convicted last week of his fourth drunken driving offense, two counts of breaking and entering, disturbing the peace and disorderly conduct.
