Mansfield Police Arrest Rhode Island Man For Alleged Burglary on Douglas Drive

Mansfield Police arrested a Pawtucket, R.I. Monday morning for allegedly breaking into a Douglas Drive home and stealing a laptop and some loose change, according to the Sun Chronicle.

Johnnie Williams, 54, who has served five years in prison and who prosecutors say has a long record of similar offences, was apprehended by Police around 10:45 a.m. Monday. He pleaded innocent in Attleboro District Court to breaking and entering, malicious destruction, larceny, and possession of burglar’s tools.

Williams, who lived with his wife, daughter, and grandsons, was held on $7,500 cash bail oor $75,000 surety and is due back in court Sept. 3. Should he post bail, he has been ordered to stay away from the victims.
