Mansfield Police Log: Mailbox Run on Willow Street, Silly String and Slashed Tires
The following is from the Mansfield Police Log from Aug. 28 to Aug. 31 of 2012.

Aug. 28
10:26 a.m. Caller reported her mailbox was damaged and her trash cans were flipped over on Willow Street.
10:55 a.m. Caller reported his mailbox was also damaged on Willow Street.

2:57 p.m. Caller reported his mailbox was also damaged on Willow Street.
3:15 p.m. Caller reported someone stole something from his residence from the garage buthe does not know exactly what is missing.

Aug. 29
8:17 a.m. Caller reported the window to her boyfriend’s car was smashed sometime during the night.
Aug. 30
2:50 p.m. Caller reported a hit and run on South Main Street turning left onto West Street.
Aug. 31
10:44 a.m. Caller reported damage to his front doors on his tractor-trailer on Oakland Street.
12:53 p.m. Reporting party came into the station and stated that her vehicle was damage during the night on Evans Circuit. No permanent damage was recorded, but large amounts of silly string were found on the vehicle.
2:21 p.m. Caller reported a pellet gun had been fired closed to his proximity (said that the pellet flew by his person). Pellets then hit his home on Hillside Terrace.
7:43 p.m. Caller reported that his tire had been slashed while he was at Stop and Shop.
