Mansfield Police Log Through August 13
The following is from the Mansfield Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned they do not indicate convictions.

August 11
12:41 a.m. Disturbance/General. Red Roof Inn, 60 Forbes Blvd. Caller reports people are being noisy in room 503. Caller would like officer to quiet them down. Parties have been advised. All units clear.
5:27 p.m. Animal Complaint. Williams Street. Officer out for a report of a horse on the Williams Street Bridge. Horse was returned to the owner on Williams Street.
August 12
1:01 a.m. Harassment/Threats. Keats Drive. Caller states her son's computer was hacked into by an unknown party and through the webcam on the computer got naked pictures of her 18-year-old son. Caller states now a man who sounds middle eastern and older is now on her son's cell phone trying to get him to pay $400 as blackmail. Advised the caller to not erase or delete anything on the phone. Caller states her son is currently talking to the person as we speak. Officer sent to investigate.
1:33 p.m. Arrest Report. John J. Jodoin, 38, of West Warwick, R.I. was arrested for larceny of a credit card and improper use of a credit card over $250.
4:35 p.m. Suspicious person/Motor vehicle. Bonney Lane. Reporting Party reports his children, ages seven and six, were outside playing and an adult male who is a neighbor grabbed himself several times while he was outside looking at the children. Officer has spoken to all the involved parties.
9:25 p.m. Harassment/Threats. Connors Avenue. Caller reports continued harassment by downstairs neighbors. Officer spoke with all parties, including property manager, who will speak to both parties.
10:38 p.m. Malicious Damage. Old Country Store, 26 Otis Street. Caller reports the occupants of a white motor vehicle throwing glass bottles, breaking them into the wood pile.
11:26 p.m. Disturbance/General. Connors Avenue. Caller reports a disturbance at this location.
August 13
12:22 a.m. Red Roof Inn, 60 Forbes Blvd. Caller states there are several people playing beer pong on the fifth floor and she would like it halted. Officer reports fifth floor is quiet, no one around.
10:34 a.m. Disturbance/General. Train station on Crocker Street. Amtrak dispatcher reports a male party on the front of the train refusing to pay. Officer reports the male party paid up to the Sharon stop and refused to give ID. Amtrak wants no further police assistance.
7:49 p.m. Breaking and Entering (Dwelling/Commercial). Potash Road. Caller reports the theft of a T.V. from earlier breaking and entering today. Officer reports the theft of a T.V., three laptops, two iPods, and an unknown amount of cash missing in the motor vehicle parked in the yard.
9:58 p.m. Abduction/kidnapping. Red Roof Inn, 60 Forbes Blvd. Massachusetts State Police transfers a call from a female, reporting she is tied up in a room at the Red Roof Inn. She believes she is in room 102 or 201. The suspect has jumped from the room's window. Suspect is described as a white male with a European accent (on and off), 5'10", unknown weight with a small gut, cropped white hair, gray eyes, wearing black leather jacket, blue shirt. Earlier 911 hang up at 6:30 p.m. was related to this incident. Suspect reportedly had small black gun similar to glock. Victim states she was grabbed after luggage pickup at Logan International Airport, got into white taxi with green lettering and was brought directly to Red Roof Inn. She states she bought food, bleach, and booze at Stop & Shop, was forced to wipe everything down with bleach. Officer retrieved video from Stop & Shop. Victim's parents notified.
