Mansfield Police Log Through August 18
The following is from the Mansfield Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned they do not indicate convictions.

August 14
6:45 a.m. Breaking and Entering (Motor Vehicle). Reporting Party reports motor vehicle was broken into last night.
11:34 p.m. Disturbance/General. Chauncy Street. Train Station, Crocker Street. Mansfield Taxi reports having an unruly patron. Officer reports patron will be using another cab for his use.

August 16
7:20 a.m. Breaking and Entering (Dwelling/Commercial). Bicentennial Ct. Reporting Party reports building was broken into last night. Officer reports malicious damage to building by shooting holes into windows with a pellet gun.

10:03 a.m. Breaking and Entering (Motor Vehicle). Cooper Road. Reporting Party reports his vehicle was broken into sometime overnight. Vehicle was unsecured, only change was taken. Other vehicle parked in the driveway was secured and not touched. Log item only, extra patrols in area requested.
3:19 p.m. Larceny (misdemeanor). Stop & Shop, 377 Chauncy Street. Larceny of a pocket book from a shopping cart inside Stop & Shop. Reporting Party did not see suspect. Officer will follow up with Stop & Shop for a video.
August 17
6:02 a.m. Harassment/Threats. 38-year-old Michelle H. Margaret of Fulton, was summonsed for arrest for violating an abuse prevention order and breaking and entering (misdemeanor). She was arrested on August 18 at 4:55 p.m.
11:09 a.m. Larceny (Misdemeanor). Milton Distributors, 305 Forbes Blvd. Reporting Party Reports theft of equipment. Officer reports tractor trailer driver stole trucking equipment. Party involved does not want to press charges.
4:54 p.m. Shoplifting. Stop & Shop, 377 Chauncy Street. Kayla R. Brown, 26, of Creedon Street and Jonathan A. Dean, 24, of Rumford Ave were arrested for shoplifting $100-plus from Stop & Shop.
August 18
10:35 a.m. Animal Complaint. Francis Ave. Party would like a snake removed from his window well. Officer reports escorting the Garden Snake away.
9:24 p.m. Larceny (felony). Reporting Party into the station to report stolen property. Three princess cut diamond ring and engagement and wedding ring taken sometime between 8/9 and 8/16.
