Mansfield Set For 3 Elections In 9 Weeks

In addition to the state primary and general elections, an election is needed to solidify articles voted on at the Annual Town Meeting.

MANSFIELD, MA — Residents will have a trifecta of elections after Labor Day.

In addition to the state primary and general elections, an election is needed to solidify articles voted on at the Annual Town Meeting.

The election, scheduled for Oct. 16, will ask voters to approve the recreational marijuana zoning and gender-neutral changes that passed town meeting. A question to remove the residency requirement for the town manager will also be on the ballot.

All three issues passed Town Meeting, but need a second vote at the polls.

As for the other elections, the state primary is scheduled for Sept. 4 while the general is Nov. 6.
