Mansfield Woman Arrested On Warrant While Trying To Get Bag

NORTH ATTLEBORO, MA — A Mansfield woman was taken into custody Monday after she went to claim her missing duffel bag from the North Attleboro Police Department.

Cassandra M. Guerrini, 29, was arrested on a warrant out of Providence Superior Court, according to the Sun Chronicle. She is facing a felony drug possession charge and was formally charged by Lincoln, Rhode Island Police on May 7, but didn't appear in court for a pretrial hearing.

Police say that Guerrini reported that her friend took her bag from the CVS on Route 1 in North Attleboro. The friend gave the bag to police, but Guerrini was arrested when she attempted to retrieve it from the police station.
