New Liquor Store Now Open on Route 106

A new liquor store opened on Route 106 in Mansfield last Friday, Aug. 2.

“We opened Friday at noon,” said John McIntyre, the owner of the new store, Route 106 Wine and Spirits located next to Stop & Shop at 377 Chauncy Street.

The store is in the midst of its soft opening, leading to an eventual Grand Opening, likely in a couple of week, said McIntyre.

“We haven’t set a date yet; we need to make sure we’re fully stocked,” he said. “The first couple of weeks, we have people coming in with requests.”

He said traffic in the store has been good but “like I said, when we have the Grand Opening, more people will know we’re here.”
