Police Log: Deer Goes For A Swim, Man Bitten By Dog

The following is from the Mansfield Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned they do not indicate convictions.

Friday, Nov. 22

At 6:50 a.m., a resident on Ware Street reported a breaking and entering to his vehicles. 

At 11:23 a.m., a reporting party came into the police station to report identity theft. 

At 12:07 p.m., a reporting party asked to speak with a police officer about identity theft. 

Saturday, Nov. 23

At 1:39 a.m., a man at the Train Station flagged down an officer to report that his car was missing from the parking lot. 

At 9:14 a.m., a homeowner reported that a deer was stuck and was able to get itself out, but may be injured. Police reported that the deer jumped the fence and ran out of sight.

At 10:56 a.m., a man reported that he was bitten by a dog on York Street. An officer reported that the bite broke the skin and talked to the dog owner. 

At 7:29 p.m., a resident from Central Street reported that $40 was stolen from his wallet.
