Art Show with Julie Gordon at the Cloister Gallery at St. Andrew’s Church

The Cloister Gallery is excited to host a show featuring local artist, Julie Gordon. The show will run from Sunday December 7th through Monday January 26, 2025. The show will open with a reception on Sunday December 7th from 11:00am to 12:00pm.

Julie Gordon is a multidisciplinary artist based in coastal Massachusetts whose creative practice spans more than 30 years and includes painting, ceramics, sculpture, photography, and mixed-media resin work.

For her forthcoming solo exhibition at the Cloister Gallery in Marblehead, Julie presents a new body of work inspired by the textures, light, and rhythms of the shore. These pieces explore the meeting point of sea, memory, and form—inviting viewers into spaces of stillness, reflection, and playful movement. Continuing her artistic journey, Julie transforms found materials and natural gestures into luminous “windows of wonder,” capturing the timeless dialogue between land and sea.

Julie maintains her studio in coastal Massachusetts, where the ebb and flow of her environment continue to shape her vision and process.
