MARBLEHEAD—The following are highlights from the Marblehead Police Department Logs for August 24-25.
Thursday, Aug 24
- Money was found on a playground at Stramski Way. Information was posted on Facebook by the finder.
- An 89-year-old woman had to be airlifted from a home on West Shore Drive. She was taken by air ambulance to a hospital.
- A caregiver reported her client missing. The woman had been hiding in her home the whole time, and has Alzheimer's.
- A crash occurred on Washington and Pleasant Streets when a red Jeep struck a Mercedes and left the area.
- A woman reported receiving a call from CitiBank telling her someone was trying to use her info to obtain a credit card.
- A woman asked officers to come by her home and speak with her son about animal cruelty. Her son had been putting the cat on a high shelf, where it could not get down.
- A woman called into the department to complain that someone had a car parked all day in the two-hour zone on Washington and Pleasant Street.
- Police responded to a parent being locked out of a home and a child locked in on Rose Avenue.
- A man was reported cat-calling and videotaping young girls on Elm and Spring Streets. He is described as a white male, in his 40s, bald, medium build, wearing sunglasses. Someone walked into the police station to report a situation where the male, operating a red and white sports car, possibly a Mustang, videotaped young girls walking down the street and was "cat calling" them as they walked by. He left heading towards Oldtown, no plate available.
- A 94-year-old woman was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital after reporting not feeling well.
- A person had a panic attack in a vehicle on Bubier Road, and was transported to the hospital.
- A man in a motorcycle fled from police on Atlantic Avenue. A black motorcycle took off, going 80mph, passing cars and heading toward. Swampscott. State police and departments in surrounding towns were notified.
- Officers responded to a possible drunk driver on Green Street. The vehicle was on the wrong side of the
- road at one point, almost struck a tree, and was almost on the sidewalk. The man was taken into protective custody in Salem after his ex-wife told officers she was too inebriated to pick him up herself.
- A woman was transported to the hospital by ambulance from Tedesco Street.
- A group of men in six cars were doing donuts in a lot on Ocean Avenue. They were sent on their way by officers.

- A country club employee reported that a bridesmaid at a wedding had injured her leg, and was unable to get off of the driveway. She was transported to a medical facility in Salem.
- A large white SUV was reported on Dartmouth and Cornell Roads carrying a group of kids. The reporter stated they stopped in front of the sign and one of the occupants exited the vehicle and began to climb the pole and steal the sign. They drove away when she yelled at them.
- A resident of Allerton Place was transported to Salem with a head injury.
- A woman on Tedesco Street reported her daughter having a seizure and turning blue from not breathing. Ambulance responded.
