Cooking Knife, Suspicious Bag: Marblehead Police Log

• Someone called police to report a suspicious duffle bag at the corner of Green Street and Meadow Lane on Friday around 10 a.m. Officers found it was an empty golf bag.
• Police responded to a report of a cooking knife found outside on Washington Street on Friday around 6:30 p.m.
• Alison Burr, 62, of Marblehead, was arrested on charges on drunken driving, and negligent driving on Saturday around 2 p.m. after police were called to the scene of an accident near Highland Terrace.
• Erich W. Nevins, 45, of Marblehead, was arrested on charges of drunken driving and negligent driving on Sunday around 4 p.m. after a traffic stop near Lafayette Street.
• Officers responded to a report of a gunshot in the area of Beacon Heights Lane on Sunday around 6:30 p.m. Police checked the swamp area but didn't find anything.
