Curbside Leaf Collection to Last Five Weeks

The town of Marblehead has announced the fall 2014 curbside leaf and grass collection schedule and it will start the week of Oct. 20.

Curbside collection of leaves and grass will take place on the regular scheduled trash and recycling day during the week of Oct. 20, Oct. 27, Nov. 10, Nov. 24 and Dec. 8.

Leaves and grass should be in paper bags or barrels only and will not be picked up in plastic bags.

There will not be collection on a holiday and instead be delayed along with regular trash collection.
