Longtime Marblehead Resident Releases Photography Book
12th-generation Marblehead resident Dan Dixey released a book, "Marblehead Images: Photographic History of a Coastal Town"

MARBLEHEAD, MA - Longtime Marblehead resident and photographer Dan Dixey recently released his first book, Marblehead Images: Photographic History of a Coastal Town”, according to Wicked Local.com.
The book, which includes 400 images, is divided chronologically by the different forms of media starting with stereoviews and cabinet cards from the 1860s and ending with miscellaneous photos from 2017, creating a fascinating collection that is both candid and historical.
Dixey said the most challenging part of creating the book was deciding which images to include -- he has more than 3,000 in his personal collection.
