Runners from the Marblehead High School girls cross-country team swept the top seven spots in a home meet versus Danvers on Tuesday afternoon.

Marblehead won the meet, 15-50, over Danvers at Gatchell Park. The team is 3-1 on the season.

Six of the top seven Marblehead runners ran their personal best this season, according to coach Kylynn McKinley.

7. Ilse Schaeffner, 22:43 (sophomore)

Girls Volleyball

The Marblehead High School girls volleyball team defeated Revere High School in three games on Tuesday afternoon.

The game scores were 25-18, 25-11, 25-17, putting the Marblehead team at 8-2 this season.

Setter Emily Promise had 9 aces and 15 assists and Maeve Daley had 6 kills and 2 aces, according to coach Killeen Ross.

Marblehead next faces Beverly on Thursday, Oct. 2 at 4 p.m. at home.

Field Hockey

The Marblehead High School field hockey team won 2-0 on Tuesday versus Swampscott. The team is 7-1-2 on the season and next faces Malden High School on the road on Thursday, Oct. 2.

Girls Soccer

The girls soccer team at Marblehead High School bear Revere 5-0 on Tuesday afternoon. The team is 6-0-2 and next faces Beverly High School on Thursday, Oct. 2 at 4 p.m. at home.
