The annual art auction will have a new program for small works for $250 or less.

MARBLEHEAD, MA – The Marblehead Festival of Arts Annual Art Auction will be held on Saturday, April 29, and is launching a new program for direct sale of certain works of art.

The auction will be held at Abbot Hall from 6 to 10 p.m., and includes a live auction and a silent auction. The silent auction features gift certificates for museum passes, restaurants, and more. There will be a preview of the items on Friday night from 6 to 8 p.m.

"Small works—buy it now," is a direct sale of art on a first come, first serve basis. "Small works" is defined as pieces that will sell for $250 or less. That includes sculpture, jewelry, blown glass, and pottery, as well as works on canvas.
