Marblehead Patch Reader Comments of the Week

Here's a look back at some of the comments made by our readers this week.

Who's to Blame: The School Committee or the Superintendent?

Barbara Anderson wrote this: Darn, only the second School Superintendent (statewide!) I've liked, and now he's leaving? I've been serving with him on the Glover School Building Committee (as the taxpayer delegate) and found him easy to work with, very inclusive, interested in transparency and common sense. If Jo Ann doesn't like him, that's another plus :) Also see a big improvement in the School Committee since the last one got along so nicely with the superintendent who helped misspend $5 million from the Village School project. Dr. Maas with Dick Nohelty have made sure that the GSBC knows about and approves every change order. Who are they going to find who can continue overseeing this project? Everyone: time out, reconsider this.
