Local Church Children's Choir Sings at Marblehead Police Department

A local children's choir stopped by the Marblehead Police Department on December 13.

A group of fourteen children from Grace Community Church crowded into the lobby of the Marblehead Police Department to sing Joy to the World, and other Christmas carols.

The police department told Patch, "This is the first time that I know of that they have come in. They merely asked if it would be okay and we said it would be great."

Reverend Eric Dokken told Patch, "We have a program called Awana that's on Tuesday nights for kindergarten to sixth grade, and every year they try to do a service project. They've done coat drives and food drives in the past. This year they went with caroling and cookies." The children also stopped by the fire house to sing to firefighters.
