Marblehead Police logs: Multiple Phone Scams Reported

MARBLEHEAD, MA - The following are excerpts from the Marblehead Police Department Logs for Wednesday, Dec. 6 and Thursday, Dec. 7.
Wednesday, Dec. 6
- A Marblehead resident reported being blocked in by another vehicle on Mechanic Street. The called told police "it happens all the time."
- A Marblehead resident reported a lost silver necklace. The caller to police her son lost the necklace with a St. Christopher medallion on it while walking home from Pleasant Street.
- A Marblehead resident turned in a silver key on a teal blue tag he found on Lighthouse Lane.
- A woman complained to police about getting a ticket for parking on the sidewalk of Waterside Road.
- A Mohawk Road resident complained about his neighbors draining their pool into the street.
- An Atlantic Avenue realtor called to report that three of his agents received calls from their own numbers pretending to be kids.
- A Darling Street resident reported being scammed out of $2,200.
- An Atlantic Avenue resident reported receiving a scam call, with the caller pretending to be her daughter involved in a car accident.
- A Prospect Street resident called to report a phone scam in which the caller said they had the resident's daughter.
- A Creesy Street resident reported receiving threatening and abusive texts from someone she met online.

- A caller reported a small amount of gravel that had spilled on Smith Street.
