MARBLEHEAD, MA - The following are excerpts from the Marblehead Police Department Logs for Friday, Dec. 1 through Sunday, Dec. 3.

Friday, Dec. 1

  • Police stopped a driver with a UK license who had an expired inspection sticker.
  • A West Street resident reported her wallet missing but later found it.
  • A West Shore Drive resident called to report a suspicious male who turned out to be a custodian.
  • A caller on Beverly Avenue reported an ongoing neighbor dispute over parking.
  • Marblehead Police assisted a New Hampshire police dept. serving a warrant.
  • A Marion Road resident reported a neighbor advised them a blonde woman in their yard. Police said it may be related to someone ordering items to their home.
  • A Pleasant Street resident reported a driver hitting a parked car who left the scene afterward.
  • A Barnard Street resident reported a scam call from the Consumer Protection Agency claiming he won $585,000 and needed to pick it up.
  • A Roosevelt Avenue resident called to report he hired a locksmith to replace a lost key at his residence.
  • A Green Street resident called to complain about trucks in the area.
  • A Marblehead resident called to report that her husband, who has Alzheimer's had gone missing. Police located him about an hour later and safely returned him home.
  • Police responded to Turner Road for a vehicle crash. After an investigation, the 53-year-old female driver was transported to Salem Hospital for evaluation and then transported to the station to be booked for an OUI violation.
  • A Pleasant Street resident reported finding a lost ATM card.

Saturday, Dec. 2

  • A anonymous party reported awful smells coming from a neighbors apartment.
  • A Marblehead resident reported finding a lost check on the ground on Atlantic Avenue.
  • An Atlantic Avenue resident reported a group of teens near the Star of the Sea church acting suspiciously.

Sunday, Dec. 3

  • A Nicholson Street resident reported her home had been broken into on Friday. The victim reported her laptop was taken and her apartment was ranscacked.
  • A Tidewinds Terrace resident reported an unwanted guest who refused to leave her home.
  • A Pleasant Street resident reported a woman passed out inside her car on the street.
  • An Anderson Street resident called to report several car break-ins in the area.
  • A Vine Street resident reported several package s had been stolen from outside of the home.
  • A Washington Street resident called to complain about kids skateboarding.
  • A caller reported a possible hit and run, in which one operator backed up into another car and then drove away.
  • A Phillips Street resident reported her son left her home and hasn't come back yet. He came back after five hours.
