MARBLEHEAD, MA - The following are excerpts from the Marblehead Police Department Logs for Monday, Nov. 27 to Tuesday, Nov. 28.
Monday, Nov. 27
- A resident called police to report an erratic driver on Atlantic Avenue near Beach Street. According to the caller, a white van crossed the double lines and nearly struck her.
- Natick Police asked for assistance in serving a restraining order after receiving an anonymous tip he would be in Marblehead.
- A Evans Road resident called police to report a possible abandoned car. Police confirmed the car was registered and legally parked.
- An Old Salem Road resident reported a suspicious vehicle, which turned out to be a painter working in the neighborhood.
- Police received several reports for a motor vehicle crash on Cornell Road near West Shore Drive.
- A Marblehead resident reported being touched inappropriately.
- A Beverly Avenue resident reported his wallet stolen.
- A Central Street resident reported a suspicious white car in the area, possibly there to buy drugs. According to police, the claim was unfounded.
- A Leggs Hill Road resident reported having her wallet and phone taken from her bag while working out at the YMCA in Salem.
- A Thompson Road resident called police after hearing someone at her door. Police stopped by her home to check things out.
