Marblehead School Calendar 2018-19: First Day Of School And More

MARBLEHEAD, MA — The first day of school for Grades 1-12 in Marblehead is August 28 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The Marblehead School District has released its 2018-2019 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

September

• 9/3: No School (Memorial Day)
• 9/4: First Day of School (PreK and Kindergarten)
• 9/10 - 9/11: No School (Rosh Hashanah)
• 9/19: No School (Yom Kippur)

October

• 10/8: No School (Columbus Day)
• 10/9: No School (Professional Development)

November

• 11/12: No School (Veterans Day)
• 11/14: Early Release Day (Grades K-8)
• 11/21: Early Release Day (Grades K-12)
• 11/22 - 11/23: No School (Thanksgiving Break)

December

• 12/6: Half Day Parent Teacher Conferences (Grades K-8)
• 12/24 - 12/31: No School (Holiday Recess)

January

• 1/1: No School (Holiday Recess)
• 1/2: Classes Resume
• 1/9: Early Release Day (Grades K-8)
• 1/12: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)

February
