Marblehead Seeks Volunteers For Town Boards, Committees
The town is looking for residents to serve on the finance committee, cultural council, planning board, and more.

MARBLEHEAD, MA – The Marblehead Board of Selectmen is looking for qualified residents to fill openings on several town boards, commissions, and committees.
According to a post on the town website, residents interested in serving on any of the committees can submit a letter of interest to the Board of Selectmen at Abbot Hall, 188 Washington St., Marblehead.
- Fence Viewers: Two vacancies for 1-year terms
- Finance Committee: Two vacancies for 3-year terms
- Marblehead Cultural Council: Three vacancies for terms expiring in 2019, two vacancies for terms expiring in 2018, and three vacancies expiring in 2020
- Design Review Board: One vacancy for a 3-year term
- Marblehead Disabilities Commission: One vacancy expiring in 2020, one vacancy expiring in 2018
- MBTA Advisory Board: One vacancy for a 1-year term
- Old & Historic Districts Commission: One vacancy for a 1-year term, two vacancies for alternate positions
- Planning Board: One vacancy for a 3-year term as an associate member
- Task Force Against Discrimination: Two vacancies for 1-year terms, one vacancy for student representative
- Zoning Board of Appeals: One vacancy for a 1-year term as an alternate
