MARBLEHEAD, MA — These Marblehead students were among those recently earning academic or athletic distinctions at colleges, universities and schools across the nation.

Owen Murphy qualified for the Belmont University Dean's List for the spring 2025 semester.

Shelby Cardoso Raimundo and Juliana Cushnie earned President's List honors at Southern New Hampshire University. James Sullivan was named to Southern New Hampshire University's spring 2025 Dean's List.

Vanessa Freedman was matched with a pediatrics residency at Rutgers-R W Johnson Medical School out of the Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine after her graduation in May.

Brendan WIllett, William Grinnell, Barbara Curtis and Luca Ferro made the Dean's List at Emerson College this past fall.

Carter Segal was recently elected to the Epsilon Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa at Hamilton College. Segal, a senior majoring in biology, is a graduate of Pingree School.

Roland Booma and Segal were named to the Hamilton Dean's List this past fall.

Air Force Major General Michael Bank, the commander of the New York Air National Guard, announces the recent promotion of members of the New York Air National Guard in recognition of their capability for additional responsibility and leadership. Gino Degiorgio was assigned to the 109th Airlift Wing and received a promotion to the rank of senior airman.

Elsa Barclay, Charlotte Collins, Kylie Donovan, Luke Marinelli and Maria Ryan earned a place on the Dean's List at the College of the Holy Cross this past fall.

Jaiden Greaves, Sean McSherry, Miriam Likhterman, Helina Tadesse and Grace Promise earned a place on the Dean's List at Emmanuel College.

Ian Cody was honored as a Worcester Polytechnic Institute President's Interactive Qualifying Project Award finalist. Cody, class of 2025, majoring in Aerospace Engineering, was a member of one of the finalist teams with a project titled "Harmonizing Holistic Health & Disaster Relief in Puerto Rico."

Tufts University students on the most recent Dean's List included Haley Andreasen, Luca Scola, Nolan Adam, Matthew Caplan, Magdelaina Putnam, Ryan Stolarz, Declan Golden, Eloise Goedkoop, Will Peretti, Griffen Collins, Massimo Bottari, Caroline Humphreys, Cole Hamilton, Felix Juves, David Kane and Lexi Fisichelli.

Audrey Chmura and Paige Crowley qualified for the Dean's List at Salve Regina University this past fall.

Alexandra Carter, Meryl Hollister, Ava Ulian and Summer Wolcott were named to the President's List at the College of Charleston.

University of Rhode Island students named to the Dean's List this past fall include Soryn Bornhorst Eric Boyd, Sam Braginsky, Jack Duggan, Christiaan Francoeur, Taylor Horgan, Dylan Kerble, Teagan Masters and Tessa Smith.

Molly Forbes was named to the President's List and Tommy Groom was named to the Dean's List at the University of Alabama.

Aeryn Vizy has been named to the president's list at James Madison University for the fall 2024 semester. Vizy is majoring in Media Arts and Design - BS.

Worcester Polytechnic Institute said William Schieffer, a member of the class of 2027 majoring in Computer Science, was named to the university's Dean's List for academic excellence for the fall 2024 semester.

Jessica West made the Dean's List for the fall 2024 semester at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Calvin DiBartolo was named to the Champlain College Dean's List for the fall 2024 semester.

Ohio University College of Arts and Sciences student Katherine Cronin was named to Ohio's Fall 2024 Dean's List.
