Marblehead's Casa Mia Closes, Will Continue Catering Services

The Italian restaurant's owners said it will not reopen for 2022.

MARBLEHEAD, MA —A casual dining Italian restaurant in Marblehead will not reopen in 2022, but will continue its catering services.

Tue owners of Casa Mia on Washington Street posted on the restaurant's Facebook page that the restaurant was closed as of Jan. 5 and thanked customers for their support.

"As owners, we have dedicated a great part of our lives into this restaurant making it our second home," the post said. "We have grown to know many in this community and have enjoyed hosting countless dinner dates, birthdays, weddings and special events for our guests.

"The past few years haven't been easy and it is definitely a nostalgic end, but we are optimistic and confident of what this year will bring"
