Marblehead/Swampscott Legion Falls to Middleton

The Marblehead/Swampscott Legion baseball team lost to Middleton, 8-3, on Friday night at the Forest Avenue sports complex, according to the Daily Item.  

Marblehead/Swampscott, with a 12-8 record, needs to bring some wins home with their remaining games against Lynn, Lawrence and Methuen. 

"We need to put a few wins together," said Swampscott/Marblehead manager Tim Cassidy. "The rest of our schedule is pretty tough. It's a good league this year."
