Minor Snowfall Accumulation Possible on Sunday

Rain showers are likely to turn to snow showers on Sunday afternoon and could leave up to 2 inches of snow before ending on Sunday night.

The National Weather Service issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook early Sunday morning saying there is “moderate probability of snow showers to accumulate an inch of two across portions of Eastern Massachusetts this afternoon.”

There is a “low probability” that some areas may see 3 inches, said the NWS.

The roads may get slushy on Sunday afternoon or evening.
