Sections of Front Street, Gregory Street Closed on Friday

A section of Front Street will be closed for at least four hours on Friday as the Adams House gets a new roof.

Marblehead police said in a Facebook post that Front Street was closed between Selman and Franklin streets while the work is done on the Adams House, at 147 Front St. next to the Barnicle.

The changes will also affect the MBTA bus routes that typically turn around in the area. The buses will instead turn around at the Old Town House on Washington Street.

Also, Gregory Street is blocked at Waldron Street because of utility work by National Grid on Friday, with all traffic headed northbound, on the one-way street, directed to turn left on to Waldron Street.
