See Mason Jars Around Town? It's For A Good Cause
Mason jars in businesses around Marblehead, Salem, and Swampscott aren't there by accident.

MARBLEHEAD, MA – Notice anything different at your local business lately? If it's in Marblehead, Salem, or Swampscott, it may be part of SPUR's campaign to raise money for enrichment programs, seed grants, and volunteer organization.
SPUR – a registered nonprofit established to inspire good deeds with a focus on Marblehead, Swampscott, Salem, and Lynn – is collecting spare change at some local businesses to support the organization. Customers can either round up their purchase and the business will donate the remainder, or shoppers can donate at will.
"It is important to me to support SPUR because SPUR's core values inspire me, from filling containers for Syrian refugees to cleaning our public beaches, to providing Holiday Gifts to those in our community who would go without, and back to school backpacks filled with supplies to promote success. SPUR continues to make a difference in our community," said Debbie Frost of LizzyLoo & Friends in Marblehead.
