Someone called police to report her daughters' friends' cars were keyed last Saturday night on Intrepid Circle.
Police notified the Board of Health of a report of a needle on Riverhead Beach last Tuesday. A woman reported it, but didn't want her kids to see it, so she kicked sand over it.
Officers took a report of an IRS scam last Tuesday morning, after someone called a resident and told him to send $4,000 or he would be arrested. The bank told the victim that it was a scam, and no money was sent.

Police took a report of a note left on a car window on Pleasant Street last Thursday while the driver was parked in the Village Plaza lot. The note said, "Hope you enjoyed your meal!," an insulting name, and had a drawing of a hand giving the middle finger.
Someone reported surfers staying out too long off Devereux Beach on Thursday afternoon. The surfers normal stay out for about 20 minutes, the caller said, but had been out for 45. The caller called back to say they had come in, and stayed out longer than usual because the conditions were good.

Officers received an email from a resident on Friday about an aggressive-sounding scam left on her voicemail. The caller told the resident they were from the credit bureau, and she would be arrested either from home or from work. The resident was aware it's a scam and didn't send any money.
Police took a report of a stop sign at Washington Street and Atlantic Avenue facing the wrong way on Friday. The sign was turned back around.
Someone called police to report a '96 Toyota missing from the Crosby's parking lot on Monday morning.
Officers took a report of her daughter seeing a Snapchat of high school boys "doing disturbing things," on Monday afternoon.
