Undefeated Football Team to Start Postseason at Home on Halloween
The Marblehead High School football team will enter the postseason tournament at home on Halloween.
The Marblehead Magicians football team will enter the Division 3 Northeast postseason tournament on Halloween night,
The bracket pairings were announced Sunday by the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association. Marblehead ended the season as Northeastern Conference North champions.
Marblehead is the No. 2 seed with a 17.0 power ranking, behind No. 1 Masconomet (6-1) with a power ranking of 17.43 in Division 3 Northeast.

Marblehead will host No. 7 Somerville (2-5) at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31 at Piper Field.
The winner will face the winner of No. 3 Tewksbury vs. No. 6 Danvers on a date and time to be decided.
