1. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
2. For those who have been anticipating this event, and for those who just want to get out of the house, the vs. Hudson annual Thanksgiving football game begins this morning at 10 a.m. in an away game at Hudson High School, 69 Brigham St. Come out to see your friends and neighbors and support the team!

3. WMCT-TV will be airing a "Turkey Day Football Marathon" today, featuring Marlborough vs. Hudson games from the 80's, 90's and 2000's. The marathon starts at 7 a.m. and will air throughout the day. WMCT-TV can be seen on channel 10 for Comcast customers & channel 33 for Verizon customers. See the promo video here.
4. The fourth annual Festival of Trees curated by the will open Friday and will continue through this weekend and next (Nov. 25-27 and Dec. 2-4) at the Hellenic Social Hall at . Many local merchants have donated and completely decorated 60-plus trees in a specific theme chosen by each donor. Folks attending have the opportunity to select the ones they love, and a chance to win it and take it home if they do. Check out our in this week's edition of Frugal Family.

5. The will host author Melissa Stewart Monday through Wednesday next week. She is the author of over 100 science-themed children's' books, and she will be spending 45-60 minutes with each classroom at the school. Additionally, she will be signing copies of her books that the children bring in those days. Some of her titles include "When Rain Falls", "A Place for Birds", "A Place for Butterflies", "Under the Snow", and many more.
