5 Things You Need To Know Today: April 11
Here is a list of things going on in and around Marlborough today.
1. Breaking News! Marlborough will enjoy temps in the upper 70s today, according to the National Weather Service. They also say we should expect rain showers in the morning, that might get heavy at times with some severe lightening. Check back with our shout out column on the home page, to see if the lightening is causing any problems.
2. The Easter Bunny is getting his picture taken with Marlborough kids at the now through Saturday, April 23. He will be available at the Abercrombie and Fitch Court, Monday – Saturday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday 12 to 6 p.m. These photo ops are made possible by a sponsorship from PEEPS Brand.
3. Marlborough students Molly Steinfeld and Stephen Moore – seniors at The Rivers School in Weston – were named to the high honor roll and honor roll, respectively, in recognition of their excellent academic performance during the winter of 2010-11. Congratulations! (See attached photos)

4. Peter J. Binkewicz, David S. Bradley, Gary Cattarin, Gael V. Henville, Christine M. Johansen, Dave Kemp, James P. Lipcon, Meghan Lipcon, Robert A. Mangan, Alyssa K. Stetson and Douglas D. Sylvester are all residents of Marlborough who are running the Boston Marathon a week from today. 5. The Marlborough Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) "will host thirteen focus groups on April 13 and 14 as part of its strategy to solicit input for its Economic Development Master Plan from Marlborough residents, business owners and workers," said a recent release. "The focus groups will be held at the Massachusetts International Academy at 280 Locke Drive and will be conducted by members of the consulting team headed by FXM Associates, who are assisting MEDC with the preparation of the Master Plan."
