5 Things You Need to Know Today: Dec. 28

1. The public is invited to join city officials to inaugurate mayor-elect Arthur Vigeant on Monday, Jan. 2, 2012 at the War Memorial Auditorium at 10 a.m. A reception will follow at City Hall. 

2. A suspect is still being sought in on Boston Post Road East. Anyone with information is asked to call Malborough Police at 508-485-1212. 

3. The "emotionally charged acoustic stylings" of Steve Pavoa will be presented this Friday evening at the weekly concert The Coffee Loft on Lincoln Street. The free concert begins at 7 p.m. 

4. Auditions for Ghost Light Players’ first production, Almost, Maine, will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 17 and Thursday, Jan. 19, from 7 to 9 p.m. at . The show calls for an ensemble cast of 10 people (5 men, 5 women) within the age range of twenties to early forties. Ghost Light Players will be performing Almost, Maine in March of 2012.
