James McGovern (MA —3rd) has re-introduced bipartisan legislation, the Safe Highways and Infrastructure Preservation Act (SHIPA) to extend size and weight limits on “big trucks.” “The simple fact of the matter is that big trucks don’t pay their fair share for the damage they cause to our roads and bridges," said McGovern.

4. Present, future and potential Marlborough Chamber of Commerce members take notice: The organization will host a Business After Hours Cinco de Mayo celebration from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. tomorrow evening at the Holiday Inn and Suites

5. There is a family night from 6:30 to 8 p.m. this evening at the . This event will be held to celebrate Children’s Book Week and will provide an opportunity for families to find out what the library has to offer to them over the summer and throughout the entire year. This is a free drop in program. No registration is required.
