1. The polls open at 7 a.m. and will stay open until 8 p.m. tonight. Today is the day residents of Marlborough will elect a new mayor, city council and school committee members. If you haven't decided on who to vote for yet, take a look at our previews and profiles on the .

2. As of late Monday afternoon, National Grid reported that about with the expectation that all customers would have service restored by Thursday evening. Patch readers were reporting, both on the site and on Facebook however, that neighborhoods were coming on-line left and right. 

3. There will be an opening reception for 2011 Abstract Show this Thursday, Nov. 3 at the gallery from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

4. Halloween in Marlborough has been due to the many issues revolving around the weekend storm. Marlborough's youth will now be out trick-or-treating Thursday, Nov. 3.
