1. If you haven't seen the local weather forecasts, take note now: The next three days are predicted to be sunny in the 60s.

3. The Assabet Valley Mastersingers will open their concert season with “Glorious Sounds of France” on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011. The program will take place at St. Mark’s School Performance Hall, 25 Marlboro Road (Rte. 85) in Southborough at 3:30 p.m. Featured works will be the newly discovered Messe Chorale by Charles-Francois Gounod and the popular Gloria by Francis Poulenc. 4. The Social Security Administration recently announced a 3.6 percent cost-of-living increase for 2012. This change could affect you or your loved ones as one of 60,000,000 million Americans who benefit from the system each year.

5. On Wednesday, Nov. 9 there will be a ribbon cutting ceremony at Kaplansky Insurance hosted by the Marlborough Chamber of Commerce at 4 p.m. This event will welcome the 207 Main St. company to the Chamber and the community as a whole.
