April 14: Home Invasion Suspect Handed Over to Marlborough Police

Here is a sampling of the calls the Marlborough Police Department responded to Thursday, April 14, 2011. All arrests are reported.

1:10 a.m.: Police investigate suspicious activity in the area of 15 Weed St.

7:01 a.m.: There is a motor vehicle accident with property damage reported at Lakeside Shell, 413 Lakeside Ave.

7:34 a.m.: Police serve a restraining order at the Pleasant Court condominiums, 145 Pleasant St. to Apt. 405.

10:23 a.m.: An act of fraud or forgery is reported at a residence, 166 East Main St. Apt. 2. 

3:22 p.m.: Brandon Place, 18, of 296 W. Statesville Ave., Mooresville, NC, is handed over to Marlborough Police at headquarters, 355 Bolton St, on several outstanding warrants. Place is the third suspect in a March 2 home invasion, and was recently extradited. See the story here

4:41 p.m.: Services are rendered when police serve a court summons at Stone Gate Apartments, 52 Saint Ives Way Apt. 14. 

6:09 p.m.: Breaking and entering into a motor vehicle is reported at 69 South St.

9:30 p.m.: During a well-being check at the 7-11 Convenience Store, 92 Broad St., officers arrest Leonel A. Cambarra, 52, of 17 High St. Apt. 1, on an outstanding warrant, and failure to appear in for a court date on his own recognizance.
